Kid's Namps

As
parents sometimes need that time to get away from the kids and ski,
we offer ski and snowboard instruction for the younger ones that
focuses on fun. Friendly instructors will keep your children happy
and safe while working on improving their skills. Lessons are based
on the Canadian Ski/Snowboard Instructors Alliance standards and
methodology and involve skill development through specific
progression levels. Team up with a group lesson or have more
personalized instruction with one of our private lessons. Through
numerous exercises, games and challenges in a positive learning
environment, children can discover the excitement of skiing or
snowboarding which will spark their interest and motivation. If the
kids need to take a little break from skiing we often have play-time
in the snow, building snow-forts or snowmen, as well as some inside
activities in the Daycare Lounge.

First Track Powder Clinic
The old adage ‘early
bird gets the worm’ rings true in the skiing world too. In this
powder skills specific clinic we meet up early in the morning, catch
the first gondola up and then are rewarded with fresh tracks while
the rest of the masses are only just rising. With a professional
ski/snowboard/telemark instructor who knows the best powder stashes
on the mountain, we will work on powder skiing technique, tree
skiing, and cover some safety concerns while skiing in powder. Once
you ride the untouched soft pillowy powder runs you will know where
the powder addiction comes from. A desire for fresh tracks and a
minimum intermediate skill level are all that is needed to get that
one of a kind feeling.
