Season Hakuba is a very famous mountain resort area located in the northern Alpine mountains on the Tateyama peaks. Hakuba is the only city in Japan where you can see 3000-meter high mountains. The fine weather provides such an impressive view of the massive mountains that words can't describe it.

Winter
A former Winter Olympics site, Happone's ski courses are famous all over the world. This ski run is especially high-ranked by people from other countries. In Hakuba village, there are 7 ski runs that have different characteristics. People also come to stay in our hotel to view the beautiful winter mountain landscape.

WINTER ACTIVITIES more...
Spring
Spring comes quickly after the snow melts. You can see the familiar mountain village landscape; the pink of cherry blossoms, the fresh green of beech, dogtooth violet, skunk cabbage, and edible wild plants.

Summer
We recommend trekking to Happo-ike in the nearby national park during the short summer season of the northern Alpine mountains. Enjoy a cool wind and lovely images of mountain flowers. The Great Hakuba snow ravine and the imposing figure of The Kurobe Alpine route are also marvelous. You can purify your body from head to toe with the fresh air.

Autumn
In autumn, you can feel the power of the mountains as if they are closing in on you. We have the first snow of the year, colored leaves and greens on the rough surfaces of the mountains. The colored leaves of Mount Happone and Tugaike are especially marvelous. Taking a natural hot spring bath while viewing the beautiful mountains is an exhilarating experience.
